Our mission is to bring awareness to the art of pole and help to destigmatize it as a genre of dance so that it may continue to empower people everywhere. 

 

UPROAR: The Pole Collective and UPROAR Pole and Aerial Arts started in January of 2015 as an experiment where the founders were interested in exploring pole and what it had to offer on an artistic level rather than a competitive one. As a company native to Indiana where pole is still highly stigmatized. Our mission now stands to expand and explore pole dance as a medium of artistic expression by further integrating the horizontal and vertical planes of movement, as well as to continue to empower our community through pole dance. Now, as a more formalized group, we are opening our doors to dancers of all experience levels and backgrounds to bring growth to the community through the art of pole.
